Laura GrobickiThe Journal of the International Aids Society (JIAS) has featured a paper (download the full text) about the effective allocation of HIV resources in a move towards meeting global targets for HIV. The important paper, to which Laura Grobicki, a senior CEPA global health consultant contributed, was funded by the World Bank and the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). It was prepared by an expert team of global academics that included representatives from: the Burnet and Kirby institutes; UCL; the universities of Monash, Sydney and Bern and the World Bank.

In conclusion, the paper suggests that a greater impact is possible through better targeting of existing resources, but additional resources would still be required to meet targets.
