CEPA is now accepting applications from prospective junior economists to work across all aspects of the business. The roles, based in London, will start in the summer/autumn of 2019.
Junior economists initially work across all of the firm's core practice areas, which include: agriculture, communications & media, electricity and gas networks, energy markets, renewable energy, payment systems, global health, international infrastructure, transport and water – but will be expected to develop one or more specific sector or practice focuses over time.
The key responsibilities of the Junior Economist role include:
- economic research and analysis – including economic, econometric and financial modelling, to inform our recommendations and advice to clients;
- drafting, editing and reviewing reports, presentations, databases and other client deliverables;
- helping with business development, including contributing to the preparation of bids; and
- supporting the day-to-day running and development of the firm and team.
