Careers
Experienced consultants
We are always looking to strengthen our offering in a people-led business. Experienced hires can help us expand our capabilities, bring new ideas and add complementary skills to the mix.
Type of work
Candidates may have experience in any of our sectors or services, but irrespective of this they will be involved in working collaboratively and looking to help the team offer an excellent service to our clients. As candidates become more senior, they will increasingly influence and manage projects, as well as supporting business development.
What we look for
We are looking for candidates with experience in applying expertise in economics or finance to policy and strategic issues. We welcome candidates who have previously worked in economic consultancy, the public sector, regulated companies, multilateral organisations or directly in the sectors we operate in.
Candidates may be able to broaden or deepen our expertise in relevant areas and will be passionate about improving both the company and themselves. We will work closely with staff to achieve this.
What we offer
- A highly competitive reward package, including salary, performance-related bonuses and a profit-share scheme.
- Professional development opportunities that include: internal and external training; working alongside internationally recognised experts; appraisal and feedback processes; networking opportunities; and professional support with the publication or presentation of content to showcase the individual's areas of expertise.
- A company culture that fosters diverse and inclusive behaviours, recognises the importance of having fun and is supportive of the welfare of its staff, partners, clients and suppliers.
- Other staff benefits include: health and life insurance; a 5% employer pension contribution; 25 days paid holiday per year plus UK bank holidays; and a corporate ‘cycle to work’ scheme.
Application process
We welcome applications from candidates on a rolling basis for experienced hires (i.e. with at least three years’ relevant experience). In addition, we will also advertise for specific roles to help grow our team with talented individuals.
Applicants should send a CV and covering letter to careers@cepa.co.uk. Where candidates are invited to interview, we will discuss with them the proposed seniority/ position we are considering them for. Candidates should specify whether they are applying for a role in our London or Sydney offices, and include information on their eligibility to work in their preferred location.
We are pleased to receive applications from those who may not meet all the requirements included in the vacancy details, but do have a skillset that is likely to support the firm’s strategic goals.
