How to regulate fibre service providers
On 21 May 2019, the New Zealand Commerce Commission published its emerging views on regulating the fibre service providers. Its summary paper is available online.
CEPA is pleased to have assisted the Commission in developing its emerging views on the allowed cost of capital for the price regulated service providers. We were asked by the Commission to provide our views on the appropriate asset beta, leverage, and credit rating for fibre services providers in New Zealand. Our report was published alongside the Commissions’ papers.
Submissions to the Commission on its emerging views are due by 16 July, 2019.
