Bronwyn King
Consultant
Bronwyn joined CEPA as a consultant in 2023. She has since gained significant experience advising regulators on economic and financial issues across CEPA's areas of expertise, in the energy, water, and transport sectors.
Bronwyn King is a Consultant at CEPA, with experience advising clients on economic policy, regulation and financial issues across the energy, water, and transport sectors.
Within CEPA’s energy practice, Bronwyn is currently providing economic and financial support to the Commission for Regulation of Utilities to assist the development of the offshore grid regulatory framework. She is also part of the capacity auction monitor team for the island of Ireland Integrated Single Electricity Market.
In water, Bronwyn is currently providing advice to Ofwat on issues relating to ongoing efficiency and real price effects for the PR24 water sector price review.
In transport, Bronwyn has provided advice to regulators across the sector in the UK and Ireland. Most recently, she provided advice to the Office of Rail and Road, based on the review of National Highways' draft Strategic Business Plan.
Before joining the firm, Bronwyn worked for a transport consultancy and worked across the aviation, rail, and maritime sectors. Her aviation experience includes a secondment to the Civil Aviation Authority to support the regulator in its assessment of Heathrow Airport Limited’s forecasts of operating expenditure and commercial revenues. In rail, Bronwyn supported a UK operator to develop a future strategy for its rolling stock fleet, reviewed delivery plans for compliance to tender requirements and supported a UK rail operator to procure multiple systems to improve fleet reliability. In maritime, Bronwyn was the project manager for a large multi-organisation consortium developing an R&D solution to improve integrity in maritime positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) systems.
Bronwyn holds a BSc in Economics and Finance (First Class Honours) from Swansea University.
