Priti is an associate who works with CEPA's Global Health team, she has more than 30 years’ experience working in global health.
Priti is an associate who works with CEPA's Global Health team, she has more than 30 years’ experience working in global health. Her areas of expertise include:
- policy advocacy;
- health systems strengthening;
- financial protection;
- strategic purchasing with public and private sectors;
- global health security;
- social norm change; and
- strategic evaluation.
She has worked across many health priorities, including sexual and reproductive health, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health, nutrition, and HIV/AIDs and other communicable diseases.
Priti has undertaken assignments for FCDO (formerly DFID), the World Bank, UNAIDS, UNICEF, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and Public Health England. Her long term roles include Director of Strategy at Options Consultancy, Health Manager at CIFF, Team Leader of DFID’s Health Systems Strengthening Programme with the Government of Madhya Pradesh, India, Deputy Team Leader of the Health Economics Unit with the Government of Bangladesh, and Associate Program Officer at the Ford Foundation, India.
She has worked extensively in South Asia (India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan) and Sub Saharan Africa (South Africa, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria). Priti holds a masters degree in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the London School of Economics.
