Transport: Environment (transport)
Our clients face a range of environmental responsibilities when planning, investing in, regulating and operating transport networks throughout rail, road, aviation and urban transport.
Objectives include managing air quality in urban areas and more widely facilitating decarbonisation, supporting biodiversity that might otherwise be damaged by our transport networks, and minimising noise pollution.
We assist our clients in developing policies and incentives that contribute to their key environmental objectives. Through working with a range of clients and stakeholders we have developed a deep understanding of transport users’ and operators’ motivations and priorities. This understanding is strengthened by our familiarity with wider aspects of transport policy and ensures that the approaches we develop are realistic, practical, and appropriate given the competing objectives facing transport operators and users.
