CEPA co-founder knighted in the King’s 2024 Birthday Honours
We are delighted to congratulate all those who received awards in the King’s 2024 Birthday Honours, including Dr Keith Palmer OBE, one of the founders of CEPA more than 20 years ago. The full list of those who have been recognised is available online.
A former banker, Dr Palmer also founded AgDevCo, a specialist investor in African agribusiness. He has been recognised for his “work on economic development in the poorest parts of the world, but particularly in Africa over a number of years.”
Commenting on the publication of the King’s 2024 Birthday Honours list, CEPA’s Chairman, William Rickett CB said, “It is great news that the founding Chair of CEPA, Keith Palmer, should be honoured with a knighthood for his exceptional contribution to international development. In his time at CEPA he worked on economic development and he then took this interest further as founding Chairman of AgDevCo, working in the poorest parts of the world, especially Africa."
