We have worked with PIDG since its inception, supporting the design of its major development and financing facilities (Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund, GuarantCo, and InfraCo Africa and Asia) offering unique solutions to addressing challenges faced with developing and financing infrastructure in low-income and fragile states in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia.
Looking to the future
We worked closely with PIDG and its donors to develop a strategy that will tackle some of today's most pressing issues in infrastructure markets, including addressing the lack of bankable projects and opportunities for local currency finance providers to support transactions. This new strategy will allow it to remain a key player in this space and act as an example for other institutions to follow.
