Fraser has more than 13 years of experience across the energy and utilities sector, working for regulators, network companies and developers in the UK and internationally. He has a multi-disciplinary skillset with extensive expertise in regulatory frameworks, economic policy and strategy, electricity networks, renewable energy and power system modelling and analysis.
Fraser Glen is a Managing Consultant with over 13 years of experience across the energy and utilities sector, working for regulators, network companies and developers in the UK and internationally. He has a multi-disciplinary skillset with extensive expertise in the review, design and implementation of regulatory frameworks, the development of economic policy and strategy, electricity network planning and design, network innovation, renewable energy and power system modelling and analysis. Fraser is also an experienced project and work package manager.
Prior to joining CEPA, Fraser worked for the GB energy regulator (Ofgem) leading several key programmes of work across the network price controls portfolio. This included the review and setting of the strategic approach for future electricity and gas price control reviews (RIIO-3), the development and delivery of the cost assessment for the most recent electricity distribution network price control review (RIIO-ED2), and appearing before the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in the Energy Licence Modification Appeal 2023 as lead expert witness. Before Ofgem, Fraser worked for WSP, one of the world's leading professional services engineering consultancies and National Grid Electricity Distribution (formerly Western Power Distribution and E.On Central Networks), the UK's largest distribution network operator (DNO).
Fraser holds an MEng in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
